I grew up into the fire and EMS world.

My grandparents were fire and EMS, my dad was an Assistant Chief, my mom was an EMT-Basic, and I am currently a Captain of a crew of volunteer firefighters and EMT's. I am on a rural volunteer FD in North Carolina.

I remember watching my father and mother helping out the community and other departments. My father was and still is my hero and I vowed to grow up to be just like him.
