Firefighter

I'm a volunteer firefighter in Amherst Nova Scotia Canada.

I joined the local fire department at the age of 19. As a child I had a mentor who was a member of the local department who lit the flame of interest.

The dept I serve on responds to approx 300 alarms per year. These include general alarms, still alarms as well as haz mat calls.Our dept has approx 48 volunteer members as well as 8 full time on call members.
