Best Firefighter Knives


When it comes to firefighter knives, there are a lot of them around.

Anyone in the market for a new firefighter knife can easily be overwhelmed at the choices available. I definitely fall into that category and I'll tell you why.

One of my goals on this site is to review different fire service products and provide that information to you. It is safe to say that my favorite "research" product just so happens to be fire fighter knives.

However, with the huge number of firefighter knives on the market, it is going to take me a while (and lots of money) to research them all.

If you have read some of my other reviews on firefighter knives , in particular fire fighter pocketknives, you know that I thoroughly test each one.

I look for things like:

  • Is it easy to operate while wearing fire department gloves?

  • If it has a window punch, will it actually break the glass?

  • Does the blade or seat belt cutter perform like it should?

    • Of course there are other factors that should be included in the review, especially the price.

  • Are you getting what you pay for?

  • Does the price of the knife include shipping?

  • What is the average price or going rate?

    As you can see, there is a lot that goes into reviewing firefighter knives.

    Don't get me wrong, I am going to post as many reviews as I can, but there is still the matter of reporting to the station(24/48),as well as the "honey do list" when I am at home.The problem is that I am only one person.
