Fire explorer

I have wanted to be a fire fighter for as long as I can remember. Its something Ive always wanted to do. I love the explorer program, its a ton of fun and we learn a lot.

Something that really affected me, was when I was about two years old, my twin brother and I actually started our house on fire, the entire second floor had fire damage. Now I help out at local fire stations on Saturdays during rig days, by cleaning, checking, and testing the gear. And it turns out one of the fire captains I help out, was actually at our house fire nearly 12 years ago. And he remembers the fire completely.

Within the last year my family did a kitchen remodel, while I was tearing the ceiling down in our old kitchen ash from our house fire actually fell out of the ceiling.
