now im sure by: Mike
Before reading this I thought I would like to become a firefighter. I thought it would be a perfect career for me. I thought the sense of satisfaction I would feel from helping people would be worth the hard work and long hours for little pay. Now, after reading this story I know for sure that it is all true. Thank you.

Dreams Still Come True by: Bill
Hello Nathan,
Thank you for this extraordinarily inspirational story of how you overcame adversity to achieve your dream.
Reading your story should remind all of us that we are constantly being watched by those we serve. We should always keep in mind that we are setting an example of how a professional firefighter should be.
As your story so adequately shows, we may never know who that small child is that will be influenced by our actions.
Thanks again for your encouraging words!
Be safe,

Inspirational, and Moving, I Cried by: Capt. J. Benning NCFD
I love to see people exceed when all is going against them, just shows there is still true honor and determination.
And to see people can still see potential in others less fortunate,IF THIS DOES NOT GIVE ANYONE A SENSE OF HOPE,then I don't know what does,my hat is off to you sir,and to those who gave you the chance we all deserve.
