Review
The Colt CT50-FFS Firefighter knife offers the following:
Pros: The first thing that impressed me about this knife was how well it fit in my hand. The handle design makes for a natural grip when I hold the knife.
It is easy to tell from the solid feel of the pocketknife that it is a quality product.
Opening the Colt Cobra firefighter pocketknife can easily be done with one hand, even while wearing fire department gloves. However, closing the knife with one hand takes a little bit of practice. It can be done, but instead of using my thumb to unlock the liner I had to use my index finger. This is only because of how bulky the gloves are.
Cons: Probably about the only drawback I found with this knife was the small size of the thumbstud. A little larger diameter would be a nice improvement. Also, the blade only has one thumbstud, which is geared for right-handed opening. Someone who is left-handed may have some difficulties because of this.

Comments
Considering the price and quality of the Colt Cobra firefighter pocketknife, I think it is a good buy.
Along with the Colt Cobra CT50-FFS, there are some additional knives made for firefighters by Colt. These are the
Colt RockLoc CT125
, Colt Cobra II 97FFSB and the Colt Firefighter Rescue CT 0139R.
